Three Yard Crib Quilts – Shirley & Juanita
Get 3 yards of color coordinating fabrics. 37x41
- All 3, 1 yard pieces should be exactly the same size.
- Fold each piece the same way, separately, the stack, all going the same way.
- Fold fabric cut edge to cute edge.
- Now fold fabric selvage to selvage.
- Stack all 3 fabrics, with folds on the same sides (alike).
- Trim off selvage.
- Cut 9” across the bottom raw edge (horizontally) through all 3 fabrics. Leave in place.
- Cut 9” on right side (vertically) through all 3 fabrics, cutting through the piece you cut in #5 (this is the corner stones).
- The remaining piece is the body of the quilt (center).
Each quilt will have all 3 fabrics: (a) Body, (b) Sides, (c) Corner stones.
